When to apply for social security disability?

I’m often asked when they should apply for social security disability?  Can I apply while I’m still working?  Do I have to be out of work for a year before I apply? Just how badly does my condition have to be before I file?

Because timing and proper preparation have been proven to be key ingredients in maximizing your chances of winning, I wanted to clarify exactly when you can file for SSDI.  Technically you can apply for social security disability if your monthly earnings are less than $940.00 per month. However, these cases are VERY difficult to get approved.

The statistics from 5 different full service disability representatives and members that have won with our disability mini course tell us that a solid well prepared application has a chance of getting approved 50% faster than the national average, reported by CBS news.

Thus, I advise that you either don’t work or stop working and concentrate on winning your case ASAP.

As soon as you are out of work and have evidence that supports the fact that your condition will prevent you from doing any job in the United Sates economic system and your condition will last more than a 1 year, it’s time to apply for disability.

Ps. While you are waiting for your approval, use the time to prepare to return to work and understand exactly how much money you can make and keep your benefits. Financially, this is the best solution.
