Social Security Disability GOOD NEWS March 2023

We are here to bring you the monthly Social Security Disability good news report this March. We’re going to talk to you about a potential increase in your social security check for $2400. Enjoy potential earnings that have zero impact on your Social Security disability benefits.
We know about the poor service, long wait, and decreased approval rates. We’ve seen the continuing disability reviews removing benefits. On another note, each of those categories for disability recipients is predictable. We’re saying that because we’ve been around the block a few times. We talk to people every day that is going through or have been through the approval process. It’s 192, 000 people here and we’ve seen patterns. A lot of things work, and lots of things don’t. We have an understanding of what’s required to get a disability case approved fast.

On Feb. 13, Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders (Vt.) reintroduced the Social Security expansion act. If you are a disability recipient or will turn 62 in 2023. You would be eligible to receive an extra $200 in each monthly check. Meaning, Social Security recipients could get an extra $2,400 a year in benefits if the bill wins approval.

“At a time when nearly half of older Americans have no retirement savings and almost 50% of our nation’s seniors are trying to survive on an income of less than $25,000 a year, our job is not to cut Social Security,” – Bernie Sanders

It’s getting support from others which it hasn’t in the past. With the cost of living increasing, an extra $2,400 makes an impact on seniors. Our suggestion, understand what Bernie’s message is and get informed for yourself. The aim is to give seniors and disability recipients security and peace of mind. By ensuring that the wealthiest members of our society contribute to the system.
This a friendly reminder that there’s a big movement for benefit reviews. Make sure that you’re in the right health insurance program. You have until the end of March to explore your options. If you’re on a Medicare Advantage plan, many of these plans now have shopping credits. This means monthly credits that you can apply to electricity, food, or transportation.
Request a Benefit review with one of our amazing advocates today. I recommend finding out if this is something that you could qualify for. You may not know now but there could be something in the future and it’s not all income income-driven. For conditions like diabetes or heart conditions, you may have more options. The last key topic we’re going to talk about is this great movement and success in the job and income category. This is where you can pick up that extra twelve thousand six hundred dollars a year that has no impact on your check.
We’ve done a ton of interviews with members that are in traditional work-from-home roles. Some, are non-tradional roles such as mystery shopping. There are many avenues if you use your creativity. Many disability recipients have unique skills. After they get approved they use their empathetic skills here. They are able to relate to members who are in the process as well. For us, that is super valuable and others are also starting to understand this. So if you’re a nurse, teacher, etc. Leverage those teaching skills to do some remote teaching.
The point is, the work structure and tools are better than they’ve ever been. There is a need in the workplace and acceptance for your unique skills. We have gathered helpful information from interviewing others. Our hope is you can learn from their Disability to freelance journey. Even if you’re not ready to return to work, start the learning process. Volunteering in something you like can put you in a position to engage and get your body moving and out of the house.
