Social Security Disability Benefit Protection Program

One of the common concerns that I hear a voice from our members is, boy, I don’t want to lose my benefits, especially after you’ve worked so hard to get them. And it is typically the sole source of income. So we’ve come out with a benefits protection program and it’s targeted to help you keep your benefits. And of course, maximize your benefits than a lot of it is focused around the C D R’s that they have the continuing disability reviews. So before I explain how we protect your benefits, I want to explain what we’re going to protect you from or against if I will.

The continuing disability review is when you get approved for disability, you have an award letter, and it says on it when your review will be, every three years, every five years and we’re seeing them for individuals. If you’re under 50, you’re getting reviewed. Even we see people in their sixties getting reviewed now. And what they’re validating is that you still qualify for disability. They want to make sure that you’ve been going to the doctor, keeping up with your treatment. There hasn’t been any movement in medical developments that would allow your condition to approve and put you back to work, that type of stuff. So that’s what the continuing disability review is. And are they going on? for sure they are, if you look at the statistics page and this supporting information will be provided with the video wherever you find this video.

So just look around for it. And what you’ll see here is these are the terminations, terminations are commonly from reviews. And if you look at the percentage of terminations in 2020, it’s at 10.15%, which is the highest that it’s been.

See termination statistics here: https://www.ssa.gov/OACT/STATS/dibStat.html

The other point that I’ll bring up is the Biden budget has 1.7 billion. That’s going to go towards the anti-fraud disability investigation program, the program integrity, that’s a lot of money to boost the program and support individuals that they believe are not qualified for benefits. Now, listen, I don’t want to freak you out. I just want to make sure that you understand that you’re subject to a review and that we are here to help you avoid the review. And so here’s how we can make how we make this work, how we can make this work.

Here at the disability digest, the benefit protection program is for clients, Medicare clients that we have, and a Medicare client is somebody who we reviewed their benefits. We find a benefit plan for them, and we enroll them in that plan. As a Medicare client, you’re eligible for the benefit protection program. It is the, we call it the BPS program. And when you get your continuing disability review, we’re here and we can help you keep in mind that we have a complete disability approval team here that goes through and help send a visual that has helped thousands of individuals understand how to file for their disability when appeals, when cases at hearings.

So we have all of the legal infrastructures to review your medical records, write a brief, teach you what to do when you go to the doctors. If your case goes to court, we even provide legal support for that. The first $500 is on us of legal fees. And that should be enough to resolve these situations.

Now we include this free for our clients because the insurance companies pay us to keep you on your social security disability benefits and to manage your Medicare. Why do they do that? Because they want to have you as a client. And so they pay us as insurance agents and benefits specialists to make sure that you are on the right plan and you’re happy. So that’s how our continuing disability review works. Now, this doesn’t guarantee that you are going to win your continuing disability review. If you’re making too much money, or if you haven’t been to the doctor, you haven’t followed any of our directions, then it’s going to be really difficult to win your review. But that’s why we meet with you periodically to go through and make sure that you’re doing the right thing.

Now, if you’re not Medicare eligible, yet, you’ve been approved for your disability benefits, but you’re not Medicare-eligible you can apply for this program.  The last thing is, this is a limited program. We have 173,000 people here, but this program is limited to 1200 the first 1200 that come in, we can realistically support that and all the needs that are gonna come with it are eligible and can enroll in this program. Now, if you’re not a client with us yet, you can request a free benefit review. We’ll review your current benefit structure, see what you’re on. We oftentimes can make suggestions without even changing plans for you, which wouldn’t qualify you for the benefit protection program, but something that you would gain out of the review anyway.

You can learn more about the free benefit review, find out if you’re properly, on the proper plan. And if you’re not, we move you to another, a better plan. Then you would then qualify for the benefit protection program.

I’m super excited about this. It addresses one of the major concerns that individuals have about having extra security in place to make sure that they can get those monthly payments going and going and going and going forward. All right. So to request a benefit review, I almost forgot this. There’s a link below to request a benefit review.

If you’re not convinced about the work that we do or all that, you can listen to these stories from other people read some of the other information, and of course, requesting a benefit review as a no-obligation-free service. You can talk to us and ask any questions when you do your review. All right, make it a great day. This has been Brian Therrien, looking forward to protecting your benefits. Thanks.
