Top 3 Tips For Supplementing Your Disability Income!

My inbox this week is packed with requests for reliable ways to supplement a disability income or help to financially survive until approved for social security disability.

My take on the spike is now that summer is coming to an end, kids are headed back to school, food cost and fuel cost are at all time highs now its time to make a few bucks.

My first two time saving tips for you are ….
1. If you are in need of funds right now this information is not going to help you…..

2. If you are looking for grant funding or a business loan without a solid business plan in my opinion your wasting your time.

My Top 3 tips to find work or staring a business that will supplement your income are:

Tip one
According to disabled business coach Andy Leaf the very first thing you should do to start a business or get a job is to find some thing that you like to do.

Tip two:
Confirm that you can what you like to do into revenue.

tip three:
Confirm that you can do one and two and it will be conducive to (or realistic for you disability)

Examples:
if one suffers from Fibromyalgia or another auto immune condition you would want to steer clear of work that is time sensitive because your fibro controls your schedule …

If you suffer from chronic back pain and can not site for more than 20 minutes than a data entry or computer programming work is not a good match ….

One of my favorite examples is of finding something that you like to do and turning it in to revenue: is when asked one liked to do he replied “I like to sit around” the result is she started a business sitting around service.

The gist of the business is she goes to people house’s and sits around waiting for the cable company, repair man, contractors etc. to show up so the home owners don’t have to take the day off of work ….

Sitting around service is a creative idea that’s easy to start and understand, making it a good example of a business plan that would stand chance of getting funding for supplies tools.

To conclude find some thing you like to do that’s conducive to your disability research it and get started or get funded.

To your success
