Thank you for inviting me to share in what I believe to be important considerations and needs.
I have looked for a long time for an online business (even prior to being disabled). I have even invested with several over
the years. They are pretty much all misleading. Even some legitimate companies will try to lure you in stating that you can
have your own business for as little as $25. They don't tell you that $25 is the distributor fee and that it would cost you
apx. $2,000+ with a lot of legwork to even begin to get it off the ground, and to get it off the ground in a reasonable time
would cost much much more.
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve come across is trying to figure out how to do the business and in what order to do the
marketing techniques in (providing one can without spending even more money). No one tells you their marketing "secret"
without either spending incrementally much more in courses or working with a personal mentor. This translates into many
thousands of dollars and a great deal of work and energy – all of which I don’t have. I’m aware of the availability of
programs one can purchase to help one identify a product and the market needs, etc. Finding these and the costs for these
make it prohibitive. Also, knowing how and when and in what order to use these is critical to the development of one’s
marketing.
My idea and hope has been to find someone honest and experienced either with a marketable online business or who can show me
how to develop my own for very little beginning investment. The idea is to make any amount of income and take this income to
put back into the business and build it. If one can legitimately earn some money, then one can certainly over time make more
and one would reinvest into something that was earning money -- a win/win for all involved. I’ve become perceptive in
reading between the lines. The marketers have also become much savvier in spinning their sales techniques.
For the past several years, with being fully disabled, finding a way to earn an income is critical as I can only consider
online work with a flexible nature -- something that might slow down if I can't consistently stay on top of it, but yet I
wouldn't lose the business and have to start all over and I would still be able to build it.
I have contacted many resources for people with disabilities. Many offer resources or services for people who are developmentally disabled and not for those
with a chronic illness.
One woman who seemed to offer some promise had recently begun her own online business. She told me
the reason she had done so was that she couldn’t find anything through other resources. Her business (which she had help
with in developing) was to offer resources to others with disabilities. She, as well as many others, would repeatedly tell
me that I had more sources for resources than they did and they could not help me. (I’ve considered trying to find and
compile the information I have to aid others, but this idea is presently not feasible.) I’ve exhausted my search. Once in a
long while I’ll come across a new site with links I may not have explored. So far, of these, nothing has led to anything
viable.
When I find this for myself, I will then explore helping others (even paying for those “disbelievers”) who must work from
home if they are considering earning an income. I would very much like to establish (or have others establish) community
programs with all the necessary tools (of a nature that does not presently exist) for people to help, rely, support each
other, and with a continuous line of training each other.

Hello Brian,
I have a few ? about the webimar on Wednesday. 1) How do you get started? What type of business do you choose etc? 2)I was
once a general contractor, so I have been in business before, but what kind of thing can a disabled person specialize in?
3)
Ideally, can a business be started by someone who is disabled?

money .. At this time I have zero income,
so the cost of any endeavor would be a problem. My question is, how little could you spend
to get this up and running?
Thank You, John
Ans: planning and research can be done for low to no cost
except your time,
Pass / partner/ modest need grant/Joint venture with me

Brian,
I have a few questions I guess. First I would like to know how to get started when you have very little money to start with.
Secondly I am wondering how much can I make and not lose my benefits. And finally, right now I am living only on SSDI and do
not make enough to file taxes on, so I am wondering how much income do I have to start making to start in order to start
filing taxes again and is it considered self employment taxes? Oh, and I assume there would be no taxes taken out so we would
have to pay in quarterly then? Thanks Brian, I hope my questions made sense.
Ans; 1. if filing individual, is your total
income more than $25,000? or 2. If
filing a joint return, is your total income more than $32,000?
SO, If you
can answer ‘yes’ to question 2, after applying your answer as an individual
or joint filer, then you will have to pay federal taxes on your benefits.

5. Working while waiting
How to get supplemental work at home income
I applied to work with you at
Disability Digest but have not heard back yet. I have a business degree, have worked in sales
and new business development, have had success building rapport with people by phone and getting sales and referrals...and
have been applying for work...but...I have not worked for several years and have lost touch with my references. This makes
it more challenging for me to get a job. A work from home job would be ideal.
ans: although
Social Security (SSA) allows you to apply for disability if your monthly
earnings are less than $980.00 these cases are VERY difficult to get
approved.
Once your approved SSA typically allows you to earn $980.00 per month and keep
your benefits.
To max your chances of winning I advise that you do not work and
concentrate on winning your case ASAP and prepare to return to work once
approved.

Brian thanks a million for this webinar, I've been waiting for years for something like this! Thanks! I have a million
questions on this subject, but my most glaring need is how do you find a business that doesn't lock you into their different
ways of colecting money from you on a monthly basis? I've been at this for over 5 years now.
ans: reliable sources that
auto pay like affiliate programs and google
8. Francisca.
Hi,
My name is Francisca.
1) I would like to know what type of businesses are available for people with disability and how much it would cost to get
involved in such businesses? Will the turn-over enable me to pay debts and be able to live on it as well?
2) Will I get assistance to create the website, and assistance to launch the business?
3) How do I get clients?
4) Will I be taught how to file my taxes?
Best regards.

I have been searching around looking for answers on just this very thing. If I am setting up a website, especially an
affiliate website that is a 'set it and forget' type model once the initial work is done, what is the best business structure
to use? I have heard that if you are a corporation, and are not earning a salary, or if you are set up as a business trust,
these are your two safest forms. I was cautioned against a sole proprietorship or llc that it would be difficult to show
that I was only spending that amount of time on my own business.
I am not trying to hide anything here, just don't want to cause any issues for my income, especially when I might be working
an hour or so a day, but have the potential to make money.
Best--
annemarie
